    Our water industry client is looking for a passionate Senior Operations Manager capable of taking us to the next level, as we grow our base of customers. You will work alongside the CEO to execute the company vision, put procedures and resources in place to promote scaling, optimize inefficient areas, manage contractors and coordinate department heads. You should have a strong understanding of operational requirements and the desire to work to make our business run efficiently.

    Our goal is to expand our customer base, by increasing our product offerings and making it easier to become a customer.     • Measure and report on operational performance and develop plans to improve relevant key performance indicators
    • Build and direct the Operations department including future hires
    • Help better align leadership to key operational needs
    • Work with leadership to build SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and improve overall business efficiency
    • Actively participate in decision-making processes and discussions with leadership
    • Communicate with various team members including contractors
    • Build a scalable and efficient supply chain that is in line with company operating plans
    • Manage contractors and installers
    • Work with internal and external parties to ensure operations run smoothly
    • Work with manufacturers and vendors to achieve production goals/quality
    • Positively represent the company at all times through a success-oriented and professional demeanor
    • Manage payroll and finances

    • 5+ years of hands-on operations experience in a small business
    • 5+ years of management of staff experience
    • College degree (required), MBA (preferred)
    • Familiarity with the multifamily industry a plus
    • Experience with the mechanical trades
    • 5+ years experience at and skill in Excel and financial modeling
    • Experience with budgeting
    • QuickBooks accounting experience a plus
    • Experience with vendor sourcing, relations, and supply chain management
    • Experience managing contractors and installers ideal
    • Experience with account or customer experience management
    • Experience with apartment management tech such as Real Page, QRD, Stratis, Yardi, or ADT a strong plus
    • Online software experience such as CRM or project management software a plus
    • Understanding of business insurance


    Hours and Location: This is a full-time position. General business hours with flexibility working from our office minutes from Penn’s campus. Minimal travel.


    • $60,000-$80,000 base,
    • Performance based bonus (participation starting after 6 months)
